New Parts

A bunch of new parts are on their way, and they signify the 'no kidding, we might actually do this' kick off of sorts.

They are as follows:
- H-Fit Short Shift Kit
- '07 Civic Si Shift Boot
- 1 '06 Insight Brake Drum

We've also got a Dwyer Magnehelic Gauge on the way. That way we can test out whatever aero mods make their way on to car (like intake, grill block, brake ducting, etc.).

The shift kit shortens the throws, and includes metal bushings to replace the nylon ones. Should make shifts crisper, and shorter. The boot is a combination appearance fix, and annoyance fix. Currently a Miata Voodoo knob sits atop the shifter, which is leaving a gap between it and the stock rubber(?) boot. This setup is bothering Tim. So, out it goes, especially when the civic boot is only $20!

Finally, the Insight drum is supposedly what Spoon used on their enduro Fit; and there's some speculation that it should 'just plug in'. At $60 for a single drum, eh, if it works... Sweet! If it doesn't, well there's always ebay! Plus they could end up providing better fade protection at a fraction of the cost of a rear disc swap (~$1k?, no thanks)... if we end up having that much spare cash we'll probably plug it into an LSD or something.
